Thank you for such a GOOD service. The venue was within a 10-minute walk from mohawk park.
Nothing that i didnt like!
The convience of the resturant in thhe building
Cleanliness, renovations were sort of being done, non smoking should mean non smoking, musty. Hallway had never been cleaned
The stay was fine rooms were clean.
the hallways smelled of marijuwana.
The room was neat and clean and relatively quiet.
The complimentary breakfast was poor. No instructions on the waffle maker. Toast, bagels and muffins were really all that was offered.
I didn't like anything about this hotel except the staff.
This hotel would benefit from a clean-up and a renovation. Gardens outside were messy; there were dirty garbage can overflowing with papers and pop cans at the side door. All the windows were filthy, both those in our room, those in the reception area and at the side entrance. There is absolutely no attention to detail. The tv cabinet in our room was missing a drawer - surely easy to fix. The drapes in our room didn't fit properly and the sheer curtains were soiled. The air conditioner was ancient. The bathroom light fixture was missing a bulb. The raised breakfast area on the main floor is dark and uninviting with a poor selection of food for the "free" breakfast. On the main level of the restaurant, the menu breakfast was great but it wasn't the fabulous new creative food advertised outside. However, the staff was friendly and helpful - they deserve better surroundings in which to work.
Beds were comfortable, some newer amenities
Party came in at 1:30 in the morning, slamming doors, fooling around in the halls, laughing hysterically, and in the rooms adjacent - seemed like no soundproofing at all - and generally having no respect for those sleeping - we had to get up at 5:30 for a horse show so was very disappointed to be woken and kept awake during the night. Vacuuming was not thorough at all, room had bits of paper, dust etc along most of the edges and someone's sunflower seed stuck in the refrigerator handle. If I could see these things, how could housekeeping not???
The rate was reasonable and the staffs were friendly.
The bathroom was not as clean. The bathtub is getting old and stain. There was only one chair in a room that has two queen beds. The breakfast serving time was not early enough for our purposes. The swimmers have to be at the pool at 6:30 a.m., and breakfast is not serving until 7 a.m.
The restaurant staff went above and beyond. The check in lady was not a happy person. We got into our room and it looked like some spilled pop or something all over the bathroom, I called and asked her if someone could clean it, she said there was no staff so I asked for a cloth so I could clean it myself, she said she would contact the manager, they called the housekeeping lady back at 10:30pm to clean the bathroom, she was very friendly but I didn't expact they would do that instead of doing it themselves an hour before. The restaurant staff was wonderful again in the moring for breakfast.
Attitude by front desk.
The room was not clean, The ac was filthy & did not work. I think just the fan was blowing air.
The hotel was old and it showed in several places. The standard of hygiene was pretty low, long dark hairs remained in the shower for the duration of my stay and are probably still there now. Not quite sure of the purpose of a microwave without any utensils, no plates or cutlery provided.
The front staff were very friendly and helpful. I even had a missing ironing board brought to me although the service staff were gone.
The hotel was dirty and in need of paint and updating. My room had a straight chair only for sitting. The attached restaurant was a dump.
Front desk associate very unfriendly. Spider in bath tub upon checking into room.
It was very close to where we needed to be the next morning and made our commute to Dover much easier
There was nothing I didn't not like, it was a stop over place for one night...
The location was terrific for us. We were staying in Brantford for the weekend for a friends wedding. So the location was convenient for the reception hall. The rooms were decent enough. They had a nice pool but unfortunately we were not able to check that out. Loved how they had a restaurant on location and Tim's, Wendy's and other restaurants nearby.
The downfall is their continental breakfast. Keep in mind you have to request eggs or waffles, the girl overseeing our tickets did NOT advise us of this option and on Sunday's the continental breakfast kinda sucks because you have to pay for the good stuff. We had a few key card issues. Next time we are in Brantford we most likely will not be staying at the Quality Inn.
